Two of your employees made our whole experience what it was. Big shout out to Miguel and Johnny. They were both outstanding!! An attribute to the restaurant and hotel!!! We came back 3 times because of them!! You are very lucky to have them!! We will be back!
My husband and I had dinner on 7/27/19 and it was absolutely fabulous. The Sea bass was perfection and my Filet Mignon was outstanding. Our waitress Megan was on top of every course and was a delight. We will be back for sure!!
Food was amazing. The waiter was very good. It did take awhile to get the food out to us but the food was so good I didn’t mind. Definitely recommend.
We went for brunch. They don't really have one per se. It was a breakfast buffet. Not impressive for a Hyatt.
Cheap, ill prepared, bland and insulting to the palate. Pizza tasted like we would imagine drywall or cardboard, polenta flavorless.
The bread was not rendered well with balance of yeast dough and water/salt. Breakfast was equally disappointing but we won’t address. We will return to the hotel but not this restaurant.
This place has okay food and the view is nice. Can be very crowded on holidays so watch out! I loved the latte I had while sitting out on the patio.
Great restaurant. I was very pleased. Simple, healthier menu. Great atmosphere and view sitting outside. Wonderful salads, great preparation on the Sea Bass and Salmon. The bacon wrapped dates were so good. Friendly staff and servers. 👍🏾
Had a very nice birthday meal at Lantana. The food and service were very good. I will return. I’m vegan and was looking forward to the vegan gnocchi and was disappointed that was removed from menu. However, I was served some mushroom and spinach ravioli without cheese. I enjoyed it and had a butter lettuce salad that I enjoyed.
While we would recommend FULLY the spa and hotel, I am assuming this review is only associated with LANTANA. While the ambiance was good the food was nothing special and somewhat over priced for the quality. We were anticipating much finer dining as well as more complex flavors in the food based on the description on the menu.
Service was sub-par, the waiter seemed pre-occupied and nervous the entire time. We were also only offered a water refill once, towards the end of the meal despite having an empty glass. Our desert and a single glass of wine took 15+ minutes (crème brulee and a bowl of ice cream do not take prep or cooking time). The wine was delayed due to them needing to change their nitrogen cartridge for their wine dispenser but that was not communicated until we flagged down a different waiter (since we couldn't find ours) to ask what was taking so long. The desert and wine (wine was a $20 glass) were not discounted or comp'd despite the manager coming over to apologize for the wait.
Overall- there are better places to eat in Indian Wells (even the Vue Golf Resort restaurant on the Hyatt property) would be a better recommendation than Lantana.
Unfortunately, disappointed in the fact that we chose this location as our final date night meal. I would also state that their menu was rather limited (surprisingly so).
Excellent service and food
Food was great and the service even better. Would definitely return and recommend.
We have eaten here 3 times and tried 3 different deserts. One was OK but the rest was not good.
The chicken soup is very good and so is the sea bass for a fish entree and the pasta with lobster and shrimp. The lobster part consist of an insignificant amount of small pieces.
We had a nice quiet dinner at Lantana. Dishes were very unique and staff was great.
We were at the Hyatt for a meeting and for dinner the first night we dined in at the Lanatana and were glad we did. This is a good venue inside of the resort and the staff took great café of us
Service was very good, u had the feeling they were understaffed. The bread arrived before the bread plates, just small things. I was particularly impressed with the flavors they put together.
Excellent food, very attentive staff.
Service was very slow - 45 minutes to receive bread.
Good service, good food, great ambiance
Our waitress was fantastic. She was so thorough in making sure our meals were safe for two of us that have celiac. She even brought out the chef to talk to us. He made the lobster Mac-n-cheese gluten free for my daughter and she was so thrilled. All our meals were wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We were staying at the resort and had several meals at the restaurant. it was lovely sitting outside to enjoy the view and all the meals we had were wonderful. Look forward to returning some day.
Things we did not like:
1. Being charged $14 for a well drink. (house vodka martini)
2. Being charged $8 for bread--two portions $4 per order.
3. Having to ask the service help to change the thermostat as we froze for 25 minutes for
action to occur.
We had a group of 20+ and one server which was terribly insufficient. She tried hard, but the service was very slow.
We also asked for separate checks which she agreed too but that caused a lot of confusion and took a ton of extra time.
Poor quality food. Terrible service. Not worth the price.
The outdoor patio was a perfect place for our gathering of six old friends.
There are heaters above that create a very comfortable ambiance. The view is lovely and the space expansive enough for comfortable noise level.
Everyone enjoyed their food, chopped salads and fish tacos, but the service was exceptional. We were allowed to spend a couple hours and were never rushed.
George the breakfast waiter was a nightmare, and we ate all of our meals at the hotel during our stay, but, this waiter should not be allowed to work at this amazing hotel property.
Great staff and quick to get us seated. However the food was ok at best. And for the price the value bad. Standard stuff for Hyatt. Nothing terrible but too expensive for what you get.
We decided to go out for Christmas, and had a really nice dinner here. The food was excellent, and the service and ambiance was superb.
Stuff was rude asking every 3 minuets if everything was fine, we wanted to gave a quality time without interruptions but with the stuff asking questions very often we couldn’t
It was amazing. I haven't really been a fa of restaurants in hotels but this surely changed my mind. Amazing service and even better food
Our table had the salmon and the pasta Bolognese and a pair of salads. The tab with tip was $133 including one alcoholic beverage and one desert. The food was good, but not fantastic. I thought the price was a little high given the quality of our meal. I will try some other restaurants in the area out before going back anytime soon.
We went here for our anniversary. It was lovely. Our waiter was first class and brought complementary champaign.
This resort is great and the restaurant is good, food was good, service was good for the price it wasn't great. I know fine dinning portions are small but this was really small. But the food was good and we didn't have to leave so overall it was a good experience.
The service was great and the food was very good. The waitress was very attentive and had a good personality. I can't remember her name but we sat at the first table on the left by the door. We had a 6:00 PM reservation on 6-23-2017.
We went to Lantana's to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and had a great time. We both had the Filet Mignon and they were cooked to perfection. Our server Trey was outstanding and was very attentive to our needs. Kudo's to the Hyatt and Lantana for having such a nice young man working for them.
Very Poor Service
20 minute Long wait for beverage order
20 additional minutes for a draft beef to arrive
45 mins after order bottle of wine arrived.
The food was good, the service however was very poor.
No refill on water or coffee, again poor service
Food was delicious, loved the ambience and our Server, Jannet, was incredible!
This restaurant was definitely a disappointment. Extremely high prices for below average food. We were seated out on the patio, which was nice but chilly in the breeze, and no heaters. No tablecloth on the plain white wobbly table. In addition to the menu, there was a buffet filled with kid-friendly finger foods, and kids ran back and forth next to our table the entire time. The servers were polite but rushed and harried, one server was actually running between the dining area and the kitchen. Not great on ambience. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was dull and lacked that "tang" in the dressing. Next was roast chicken breast, which was over cooked and dry. The sweet potatoes and leek risotto were good. They brought bread when we asked for it, but no butter. We skipped dessert and bought ice cream in the mini-market.
Nothing about this place is special or worth remembering. Skip it and drive into town for dinner, it's worth it.
