This used to be one of our favorites at the beginning of the season however the past 2 visits have been mediocre at best. On a first visit skillet steaks were inedible, over cooked tough and sent back. Thinking this had to be an anomaly we returned as a party of 5 to once again fair tasting. We ordered assorted items and all left the palate asking for more. Lettuce wraps overwhelm with heat and not enough lettuce to wrap, burgers are ok a bit dry, pizza lacked flavor, curry was watery and bland and sushi was ok. We hope they return to its previous standard of good high quality.

We've loved Langosta in the past, but this time we waited over an hour for our food, and then they ended up not even bringing us our appetizer. Would've been nice to have been comped something for waiting over an hour for our food . We got the bill, and the appetizer that we never received was on there, and we had to ask for them to take it off. In the end, after we had complained, they apologized for us having to wait, but we probably won't be back any time soon because of this

I have never ordered beef at a restaurant. I’m not a fan, but for some reason I ordered the short ribs. They were phenomenal. So glad I left my comfort zone.

I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant as we couldn't get a table the summer before. The food was flavorless and insanely over priced. $18 for lobster mac and cheese appetizer that barely had any lobster in it. $25 for Jerk Chicken and vegetables, and my fiances ahi tuna was so over seasoned he couldn't even tell what was a vegetable and what was raw fish. :|

It was a wonderful night. We sat outside and listened to a sax player that had water that was provided by the restaurant. the service was stellar as was the food. A great dinner experience to celebrate my birthday.

Great location on the boardwalk, but the food and drinks are mediocre. Examples; Asian lettuce wraps were terrible, mezze plate was just ok. The poutine was tasty. Drinks were bland and poorly mixed. The service was lacking and the glasses were clearly dirty. This place is attractive for a night out m because it’s high energy, but the food is hit or miss and there are way better places to get drinks in Asbury Park.

I have not been to Langosta Lounge in about a years time. I used to go almost daily being I was always hanging around Asbury Park taking photographs and enjoying life. It was my constant go to spot and made many long term friendships there. My recent experience there was with my Girlfriend and her father and step mom. Langosta Lounge exceeded my already high beliefs about it again(mind you I took my girlfriend here on one of our first dates). The Burger was unbeleiveable. Perfect on all levels for a double patty burger that is daring. The charred taste was perfect. I say Cheers to Langosta and wish it many more years of Peace and Prosperity. Live Long and Prosper Langosta Lounge.

Disappointing. I took a friend last night to celebrate her birthday. The noise level was exceptionally high. When we asked for table outside we were advised that they were no reservations for outside. We did get a table on the inside. The special salad was a disappointment. It was wilted. There was fried avocado that tasted like old hummus. The special fish was prepared Cajun style and we had not been advised. Both of us left half over. it was just too hot. I’ve eaten here before, perhaps a change of chef.. I’m not going back.

I went to dinner on Memorial Day Weekend. It was crowded, noisy, and fairly frantic since it started raining heavily and the outside diners had to come inside. Asbury is very popular and busy now so it was to be expected. Langosta was an early restaurant on the thriving Asbury scene and it's not one of my favorites anymore. I don't think anything is that special about it but it's ok. Great location. Average food.
