Langan's Ratings and Reviews
This is the third time I’ve been to Langan’s, and all three times have been excellent. Terri Rickwell, the hostess/ owner is always friendly and a gracious host. Straight from Dublin, Ireland Terri has added her hometown to Langan’s. The food is fresh, delicious and piping hot when it arrives at your table. I’ve been to Langan’s for my girls night out and dinners with my sister. I highly recommend Langan’s for an excellent meal.
This is our new "go to" place for a quick bite before the theatre--good place for friends to come together. The turkey burger was great with these cool, swirly big fries. Service was friendly and fast. There was a group behind us that was loud--it was the week before Christmas so all was good.
This was our first time to New York. I choose this restaurant because they had fish and chips. My husband's fried cod was full of grease when he cut into it. Mine was perfect. The waitress ask how is everything my husband told her about the very grease cod and she laughed and replied it is fried and walked away. We drank water because she forgot to ask if we wanted anything to drink other then water. The restaurant was not very busy therefore there was no reason for such poor service. Sad for the restaurant they are only as good as there staff.
Visiting from Cincinnati OH. This was our second dinner there. Will return next year. Great location for dinner before the theatre. The Christmas decorations added to the ambiance. Langan's is a place we recommend to friends. Loved exiting thru the crowds in the bar'
This is my restaurant of choice when I am in New York city. Very nice people and I love the food. We always tell our waiter that we usually need to catch a bus and they always make sure we have enough time to eat and have dessert if we want it. It is also very reasonable priced.
My family and I had dinner here on a Saturday night, then I returned with friends later in the week. Both times, the food was very good, the staff helpful, and the restaurant not too noisy. On Saturday night, we were late for our reservation by a half hour due to traffic, and they were kind enough to hold it for us. Its location to Times Square is perfect. We all ate dinner and still made our Broadway show with time to spare. When I returned with friends during the week, we didn't have a reservation and only waited about ten minutes for a table.
I recommend Langans and will definitely return!
Pre theater lunch for 5 friends. We were late, due to traffic, but service was great and we even had time to spare. Started with well made drinks. All had burgers except me. I had a very good chicken pot pie.
All was nicely served and everyone agreed we would go here again.
I was previewing Sponge Bob Square Pants before taking the grandkids in December and decided to stop for dinner at Langan's before the show. The fish and chips were very good as always. When the family comes to town we enjoy going to Langan's for jazz brunch. I also enjoy stopping off after a show for some drinks and appetizers with friends.
Pleasantly surprised Times Square area restaurant with good food and service; nice big bar, great Irish Coffee, welcoming bartenders. We came pre theater matinee and the place was jumping, luckily we made a reservation. Always concerned about pre theater as sometimes can be rushed with limited menus. Langans did a great job with the service. Enjoyed the Shepards Pie and there were many Irish offerings on the menu, as well as sandwiches, appetizers, salads and other entrees. Would defiantly recommend and return.
Cozy spot near the theater district but not as crazy as some other restaurants further west in Times Square area. Comfortable and warm service in a pub atmosphere. Typical pub food plus other traditional dining options. Nice friendly bar scene but a quieter white table cloth area in the back makes for a quieter dining experience. We were there pre-theater and had the squash soup and the baked mac and cheese, perfect for a chilly rainy evening. Definitely will be back.
