Landry's Seafood House - New Orleans Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed the experience. Chose Landry's for our Christmas dinner. The fish dishes were yummy. I would recommend offering guests a sharper knife ie steak knife for the lobster tail. Although a bit over cooked it was tasty. A great place for the view. Thank you!

Had a wonderful meal and great service. Pop had raw Oysters for starters and said they were salty and delicious. His main course was the Crawfish Etouffe and he said it too was tasty, just enough spice without overpowering the dish. Hubby and I had the Crawfish bread appetizer which was great as usual. I chose the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp with crabmeat over grits. Wow! It was scrumptious. The shrimp were large and seasoned delicately, then had the most delicious Parmesan crust. Hubby had the filet mignon and loaded baked potato. Honestly one of the best filets I have ever tasted. It melted in your mouth. So yes, I would recommend Landry's!!!
On the tables were signs about a Christmas Day event and it said to "ask your server about details". The server had no idea what I was talking about, then when he came back with information on it, it was wrong. He told me about the gift cards, you can buy $50 and get $10 back. Nothing about what is going on Christmas Day. I then asked the manager about it he seemed a little confused he told me they would be serving Red Snapper with garlic butter sauce. I'm still not convinced that was the "details" I was to ask about for Christmas Day. My family is looking for somewhere to eat Christmas Day so please if you have details let me know. Thanks
We wanted to treat a business associate to a nice meal, featuring seafood and knew right where to go. He was most impressed with the view overlooking the lake. The food was amazing - as usual! Thanks for providing a great experience for all of us. The table behind us was rude and loud, wish something could have been done about them - maybe move them outside.
Food is average. The shrimp cocktail was dry. Waitress forgot the cocktail sauce and said she would be right back. 15-20 minutes later she still wasn’t back and we had to get up and go find her. This was late with hardly anyone else in the restaurant. Disappointing. Have had better experiences at Landry’s.
We were very happy when the restaurant coul accommodate a late (afternoon of) addition to our table. And she was happy the chef could accommodate gluten free on her main course. The sunset view on the Lake was one of the reasons I chose Landrys, and it didn't disappoint either.
