The 6-course tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary—each dish showcased masterful technique and Asian-inspired creativity, blending bold flavors with delicate finesse. The wine pairings were thoughtfully curated and elevated every bite, creating perfect harmony throughout the meal. Service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and every staff member seemed genuinely passionate about the food and guest experience. This place isn’t just a dinner spot—it’s a destination for anyone who appreciates fine dining done right. Highly recommended!

Unusual presentations of “traditional” dishes, they were d licious. Wine list is extensive, tables are generous, service staff terrific.

It was lovely to visit the team at Zauberlehrling. Everyone was very quick to offer service for us in both German and English and made us feel very welcome the entire evening. The opening appetizer and alcohol-free options were fantastic to pair with the variety of dishes. Also open for vegetarians. We were one of three tables on a Tuesday evening and the ambience and noise-level was perfect. Can highly recommend to anyone else thinking of going for a special event or otherwise.

Food was so good. I haven’t been in a Japanese restaurant with actual Japanese people working there in a really long time. Such good quality and service.
