Outstanding! So delicious that we ate at the Ahwahnee two nights in a row. The buffets were excellent. Cutting board with both prime rib w/creamy horseradish and tri tip both nights! A giant pan of endless shrimp scampi on Sunday and the following evening it was filled with small lamb chops with mint. Two salads, Caesar and light green salad with croutons and parm crisps. Also mashed potatoes, Italian Arancini Rice balls filled with melted cheese, vegetables and dessertsm including small tastes of cheesecake and panna cotta. As for breakfast, the buffet was substantial. Eggs Benedict, hams, bacon, fruits, pancakes, hot cereal. Service was excellent! As for the price, it's worth it just for the breathtaking views! A romantic dinner at the Ahwahnee was on my bucket list and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Don't let the scaffolding scare you! Once it's dark you don't even notice it!

After several days of camping and hiking, a fine dining experience was greatly appreciated. Our server- Jose was kind, patient and very attentive. The menu choices were excellent- something vegetarians, gluten free or dairy free. The pork belly appetizer was amazing. The burrata tomato salad was refreshing with fresh nectarines and heirloom tomatoes. The pork chop, halibut and Wagyu burger were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Lovely way to spend as a reward for hiking to the top of Yosemite Falls.

Hubby are vacationing in Yosemite area and he found this little gem when searching for a place for us to have dinner. We drove from El Portal to try it out. We were not disappointed at all! The variety of the food was amazing. You would expect the food to be at a 5 star sit down restaurant but this was more of a cafeteria style. It was different but in a really cool and unique way! Would highly recommend!!
