The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

Really beautiful setting, we had a great meal. They took care with my Gluten intolerance and our waitress was lovely. Stunning views, friendly staff and a great location.

Very enjoyable meal. Only comment I would make is that we booked to sit outside in the heated tent which is very nice, but we were a group of 6 who normally runs tab for food and drinks and then split it bill at the end. This was not allowed due to us sitting in the garden / tent so it was very inconvenient having to each go up and pay. We would happily have left card details or something, but the inconvenience to us the customer spoilt it for us. I think The Castle Inn should re think this policy and find a solution that protects them and does not make hassle for the customer.
