My girlfriend and I had a lovely light lunch with a glass of wine to celebrate my birthday. We were both exceptionally happy with our meal and catchup.

Looking for something different, book at Inara. Slightly expensive for the portion sizes but very good and exotic food from the Middle East ["the healthy stuff"]. Wish I could cook artichokes like that. Eggplant dish outstanding too. Wines exe' too [start at $16 for 150ml] but a very eclectic selection [tho' only one Rose' sadly] and all are obviously chosen to be the pick of the crop from around the world, however there are some local grapes in there. The mocktail Arlo Johnson is just out of this world and very reasonable. The desserts are beautiful. Service very friendly but not intrusive. Lovely subtle decor. Thought I was in a restaurant at the Dubai Mall LOL!

Forget anywhere else in Australia. This is the the place and the menu you have to come for. Some of the best food I have eaten anywhere in the world. It really was that good. Fantastic quality and authenticity of ingredients. Cooking skill, flavour combinations and seasoning were exceptional. Presentation and wine pairing were just superb. Great service and good value. Congrats Cullen. This was amazing. A real showcase for Australian gastronomy.

Another great day at Bootleg Brewery yesterday, and the second visit since the new owners have taken over. Was not as busy as we expected but that is a good thing. Drinks and food was excellent as expected, large servings and very fresh. We had the garlic bread entree and the size of the serving was large, could have fed 3-4 people. My wife had the Raging Bull beef pie and I had the Steak Sanga. Both very well cooked and presented as expected. Will be back again as Bootleg is now back to being a “must visit” when we are down south.
