Restaurants near Wilson Woods

My favorite restaurant in Des Moines. The hospitality is top tier. They very welcoming and they go the extra mile to make sure their customers are comfortable and receiving great service. If there is an avoidable mess up on the restaurants end they always find a way to make up for it.

The brunch menu looked yummy with a variety of entrees. I had the jammie egg and avocado toast with a Bloody Mary. The eggs were soft cooked and a nice addition to the sourdough bread, avocado, arugula and a citrus dressing mixed with a sweet jam. My husband was hoping for the brisket hash but it was not available today. Service great but waitress not the friendliest I’ve had there in the past. Overalll a great meal and experience as always

Getting a reservation was super easy and they were able to accommodate a large group with little notice. The ambiance was amazing and the food was even better!

My son and I love this place. He goes to Iowa State and whenever I visit him and if we can make it, we do dinner here. The steak never disappoints and this time we tried the crab cake on our server’s recommendation and it was really good. As he’s got 2-more years at school, I hope to make it to this pace a few more times.

Too loud and being seated next to the door and being blasted with cold air everytime the door was opened was no fun. Most likely not coming back.
