Magical is a word thrown around a lot when discussing Tavern On The Green and one can’t help but feel magic in the air. Jim and David, architect Richard Lewis and landscape architect Robin Key, preserved the Victorian/ Gothic elegance of the semi-circular building; it is authentic, natural, elegant and sexy. It has been re-built to spectacular precision and the décor is of a grand farmhouse one might find on the property of an Italian Villa or a historic Hudson River Valley mansion.Dress Code: Smart Casual. Jacket and Tie are Not Required. * We do not permit sleeveless shirts for gentlemen nor athletic/running/jogging attire for any patrons in the main restaurant. Reservations as early as 60 days out through our Reservations Department at 212-877-8684 or reservations@tavernonthegreen.com

Delighful Culinary Experience We just had lunch recently with a group of friends celebrating our birthday Month in Bad Roman. Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to try the restaurant for ourselves. Surprisingly we absolutely had a delightful experience. The restaurant's ambiance is charming, with a blend of modern and rustic decor that creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly. I would like to give a huge shout out to Jackie, his exceptional service truly elevated our dining experience. From the moment we sat down, he was very attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The menu at Bad Roman offers a creative twist on classic Italian dishes. The appetizers set the tone for the meal, they were all tasty. The roasted garlic babka and yellow tail crudo was a hit we ordered it twice. Overall, Bad Roman is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Italian cuisine in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. It delivers an experience that's worth coming back . Though quite disappointed that they dont offer their famous lemon cheese cake for lunch! Why? May I strongly suggest to consider it having available on your lunch menu please.
