Samdan’s dining room modern, new. The extensive menu of Mediterranean , Middle Eastern and Turkish fare is exotic. It is always authentic and fresh Mediterranean Restaurants in Cresskill in Bergen County, New Jersey, and offered at prices so low that one is tempted to over-order just to sample the interesting dishes. Mezes, the little plates, excel and can easily be collated into a very filling dinner and full bar. Private Parking behind the restaurant.

    Brought 4 friends (who had never been) to this 'go-to' of mine. None were disappointed; the restaurant lived up to my boasting. Appetizers were the combination skirt steak, shrimp and chorizo; fried calamari, coconut shrimp and shrimp in garlic sauce. We needed extra bread for the sauces. They were great. This carried on to dinner. Three had the filet mignon and shrimp special, I had the bronzino and the other had the veal medallions. Again... any of the sauces are unique, flavorful and requiring some bread to finish them off. One of them plans to reach out for a small party; they others said they'd definitely go back (we're planning a birthday brunch there in June!!!) do NOT pass this place up!
