- NNhaThucSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 29, 2025We are so fortunate to live near this restaurant! Considering the cost of living for San Mateo, the price for the AYCE experience is definitely worth it. We just recently celebrated our 2-year anniversary here, and everything was wonderful, from the service to the food and the live musicians. We have also dined here on Valentine's Day, which was very busy, so I would recommend not booking a holiday if you prefer a more relaxed and intimate dining experience. We didn't mind the crowd on Valentine's Day because it's to be expected, and we really appreciated the calm atmosphere for our anniversary as well. Our server was lovely, and the amazing gauchos came by frequently. I got to try all the cuts I was hoping for! I highly recommend the pineapple mint juice for non-alcoholic drinkers; it's super refreshing and helps with digestion. For the same reason, I also recommend the grilled pineapple and the mango salad from the buffet. Our favorites for meat were the top sirloin, picanha, filet mignon, and chicken hearts. I also enjoyed the flank steak as well as the beef rib! Everything was very flavorful and cooked to our preference (medium rare to rare), but I'm sure anyone could request a different temperature with no issue. We received a complimentary ice cream with a candle to celebrate our anniversary (I had mentioned in my reservation), which was a very pleasant surprise to my partner (who did not know I mentioned it in the reservation haha). All in all, a fantastic restaurant to celebrate any occasion or simply to enjoy a great meal. We look forward to dining here again in the near future.More infoEspetus Brazilian Steakhouse - San MateoPrice: Very Expensive• Brazilian Steakhouse• San Mateo•4.7

The drinks were delicious although slightly expensive. We had a terrific meal.More infoPausa Bar & CookeryPrice: Expensive• Italian• San Mateo•4.7
