Restaurants near Walnut Acres Campground - A Cruise Inn Park

This was our second time eating at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The host was friendly and attentive. Our server, Spencer was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He stopped by our table after each course was served to ensure everything was to our liking. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes - a must when you dine here. I ordered the lasagna, and my husband ordered the pork osso buco - both were outstanding! The entrees came with a generous salad with a variety of berries and vegetables topped with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, we were intrigued by the special of pineapple creme Brule. It came in a pineapple (which was sliced in half) and the cored-out fruit was made into the creme Brule and put back into the pineapple. It was refreshing and delicious. We visit Galena once a year and we always make sure to stop at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed - excellent staff, fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere!

Great waiter. Great servers great food. Thank you. Just wish you had a discount for SR’s, or menu breakfast. I had 3 things for $24. For 72 yo I won’t be back. Too expensive for what I ate.

As usual, absolutely everything we ordered was perfection! Our two youngsters (who are very picky eaters) both said how good their meals were, and the four adults enjoyed every bite. We entertained our family from Minneapolis, who thought this was some of the best food they ever had! Thank you for another delightful experience!
