We drove up from Brisbane and had a wonderful meal, very authentic Germanic food. My husband was lucky to have a pork knuckle and I had the schnitzel - as good as Germanic food gets, great food and service, outstanding views.. the apple strudel was delicious.

I took my mother to Secrets on the Lake for an Early mother's day Petite Plate as a special treat. As we are both coeliac, we preordered our petite plate as gluten free. We were absolutely delighted with our coffee and treats along with the ambiance and service! Such a beautiful oasis and a easily doable as a day trip from North Brisbane. Friendly staff, fabulous food in a beautiful setting with the Glasshouse Mountains in the background. Highly recommend if your looking for a breakfast or lunch or simply a coffee and cake.

Another fabulous evening at Spill Wine for the Words and Wine Book Club. Delicious food and wine and wonderful ambiance. Looking forward to our next meeting!

Great atmosphere, family friendly. The only disappointment was some of the food. The fat chips were horrible, hardly eaten. And the chicken parmigiana and salad was below average. Bought this up with the staff but nothing was taken further. Disappointed.
