One of the most authentic and exciting restaurants to open in Miami Beach in ages, this ultra-friendly restaurant has made fast friends of the neighborhood around Sunset Harbor. The young staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Highlights on the lengthy menu of rustic dishes include spaghetti bottarga, orecchiette with wild boar sausage and nearly melted broccoli di rabe pesto. Salt-crusted branzino, prepared in the wood-burning oven, is a masterpiece. The fantastic, value-priced wine list is always a winner. Best to go with a crowd and share a platter of thinly sliced meats and cheeses with vegetables roasted in the wood-burning oven. Order a plate of crackly rosemary carasatu bread, too. Desserts, like the millefoglie with nutella and pastry cream, are as addictive as this new hot spot.Source: New Times: Best of Miami 2007

Usually everything is perfect - nice space, good wine choices, charming staff but last night was off. Fish was overcooked. The restaurant was pretty crowded so I'll try again on a week day night.

We had a lovely experience at our newest neighborhood addition. The ambience is elegant yet still comfortable and relaxed. Music was ambient in quality initially but a bit louder as the evening progressed. Servers are sophisticated, attentive and completely accommodating. We shared zucchini flowers as a starter stuffed with ricotta salata and mozzarella. A bit modest in portion size but extremely flavorful. Focaccia stuffed with fresh tomatoes and olives and dusted with sea salt was phenomenal. Our two pasta entrees were unique - bucatini with a yellow tomato sauce and branzino was light and lemony. Contrasted beautifully with the paccheri with veal ragu - rich in character and intensely flavorful. A hidden Sunset Harbour gem. We look forward to sampling other items when we return soon.
