Amazing place for dinner . Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Loved the fireplace area and the Adirondack chairs close to the lake. Very nice restaurant for a date night .

Roots always provides an exceptional experience with unique food. I truly appreciated our server Maeve who answered my question regarding the strawberry relish with honesty saying it was sweet with herbs but comes as a side. That truly helped me make my decision to try it. Although the relish was too sweet for me, the salmon special was great even without it - my husband will love it! Great end to a pre-holiday work week. Of course, I will be returning - again!

What a great spot! Wide variety of food, all of which was good . The view is stunning. The music was louder than we liked, both inside and out, but we were able to ask for a table farther away from the speakers.

Great experience at Tasteful Station and a very good addition to Poultney. Service was quick and responsive, and the food was superb and on par with top restaurants in Manchester and Rutland. Highly recommend it!

If the weather was better, the trip would have been perfect for Father's day. We were four adults and all ordered something different to eat and drink, and not one complaint. The food was delicious and lots of it. With a large selection of beers, wines and spirits. I wish I could remember out servers name, but everyone we interacted with was super friendly and eager to help. Lots of room between tables and very clean! We will be back
