It's been many years since we last visited Zinc and our most recent experience was fantastic. The staff were all excellent, from the waiter who recommended our wine and took the time to understand what we liked to the waitress who frequently checked in to ensure we were all happy. There was a delay with two of our mains which meant two guests had meals ahead of everyone else but the waitress did offer to hold the dishes while we waited for the last meals. A special call out for what I would rate as one of the best looking kids meals I have seen not only in Port but in Oz! My son who is 10 had the barramundi filet with veg and chat potatoes and he was very excited! Overall, I cannot fault the experience. Beautiful food, great service and of course the best location. Port Douglas. Bliss!

A hidden gem in Port Douglas - a culinary delight to dazzle the senses - each and every dish ordered was a unique blend of flavours. Service was friendly and outstanding - shout out to Marie out hostess on both occasions.

My partner and I had dinner at Lichi on our second last night in Port Douglas. We arrived half an early to our reservation and asked to be seated outside and were immediately accommodated. There was a lovely ambience and feel to the restaurant which is located near the marina. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. We each had a lovely glass of New Zealand Pinot Noir and some Moreton Bay Bug rolls that were simple but tasty. We shared the Seafood Linguini that had some delicious prawns and was garlicky. The highlight however was the whole Barramundi which came with some delicious chat potatoes, papaya salad and chilli sambal. The fish was fresh and tasty and a very generous serving size. Overall, would highly recommend going to Lichi when in Port Douglas.

What a lovely place to have lunch. We watched the birds bathe in a little bath situated on top of a tree right in front of our beautiful view of the ocean and treetops. The food was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. Overall an amazing experience. Thank you.

Certainly a must if you are staying at the Oaks. Convenient, well priced and in beautiful surroundings.
