The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Once a dark 70’s style bar and casual dining restaurant, it also featured a fine dining area.In 1999, The Grantree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel.In 2008, the Partners decided to change the name and again do a remodel with more of an upscale sport’s bar style hence creating what today is The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s Upscale Sport’s Bar with 20 TVs, a Casino, Full Bar, and Sports packages. Visit us today and see why The Club Tavern & Grill is “where the locals go”!

    The food was outstanding! Beautiful presentation and tasted like you would expect from a 5 star Michelin restaurant. Short staffing caused delay, but the waiter was caring, experienced, and very likable. We enjoyed the steak and the pasta Ragu. The fennel salad was delicious!!

    We ordered the trout and it was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very small and cozy.

    The Highlander is a perfect example of Montana class. Superb wine cellar paired with exceptional chef creations in a rustic woods setting. The live band’s lead singer has amazing pipes. The closest comparison I could think of is Cindy Lauper. The steaks are thick, juicy and perfectly grilled. This visit I had the Red Caribbean Stew. Think Thai red curry? With the protein of your choice, this spicy coconut sauce was paired with baby potatoes and white rice. Wonderful!
