Best place in Grand Rapids to dine for any special occasion ….. by far

The experience was fantastic. The view was beautiful and watching the sunset made the evening more special. For $50 to have the table we had, I wouldn’t consider that worth it when the table right behind us could also experience the sunset for free. Non alcoholic beers are overpriced. $330 for a dinner in Grand Rapids is a little steep, but we were celebrating a birthday so the splurge made more sense. The menu isn’t that big, so you know the menu is all going to be great. The octopus is key to try, and it was worth it! The ceviche was my favorite, and the desserts are complex and fun to try! I recommend the lemon dessert if nothing else the pictures are incredible! I don’t know that we will be back until the menu changes for more things to try.

Steaks were wonderful, tender and cooked to order. We felt the rest of the food was highly overpriced and the portions in no way were in line with the price paid. This location did not provide the ambiance we had expected from a high-end restaurant. Service was excellent and wait staff friendly & professional.

Shockingly great prices for a beautiful location and great, original and tasty menu. Service was slow between courses on our night, but we were a large table and that may be an anomaly. Nice staff and great interior, with a view to the river in an absolutely beautiful old hotel.

Experience was wonderful! Recommend the biscuits for appetizer & avocado toast.
