Restaurants near Valley Vista Golf Course

Due to an exhaust fan belt breaking in the kitchen on Sunday creating an unexpected closure of the restaurant we received a voicemail early Monday to let us know what the options were for our reservation Monday evening. We were offered a limited menu as long as the food lasted, so we went earlier than our reservation and had a great brisket and 3- side meal. However at the end of the meal we were also informed that their credit card system was out of commission so payment options were either cash or putting the charge on our room. Luckily we had the cash, and the service/food was good considering they were working under ‘Plan B’.

Five of my family had lunch at SVG today. Our server was wonderful: very bright, accommodating to a couple of minor guest needs, and able to explain anything on the menu. The food (salads ((simply delicious)), grilled cheese, B.E.L.T., and fried chicken sandwich) was outstanding. Rarely does anyone in my family have dessert, but I insisted that they try the beignets. They absolutely loved this total taste treat. Order these beauties 20 minutes ahead of when you actually want them as they are prepared fresh. This is a fabulous restaurant and consistently so. Highly recommended!
