Once again The Highlawn was absolutely delightful in all aspects! It was a special birthday dinner for a dear friend, and our server, Mike, made it such a wonderful occasion. The appetizers were delicious - we especially enjoyed the lobster tempura and the beet salad. The four of us ordered a Cowboy (tomahawk) steak for two, and a Porterhouse. Both were outstanding - cooked perfectly medium rare, well-marbled, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was a terrific evening, from our complimentary sparkling wine to the birthday cake.

Go to Fornos of Spain if you want to experience outstanding service and incredible cuisine. We were seated immediately and greeted at our table by a full staff of attentive servers. The restaurant is impeccable, from the glistening chandeliers to the wood paneling and decor. We shared fried calamari as our appetizer which is by far the best I have ever had. Generous portion, tender pieces with a red sauce that is unique and delicious. My husband had surf and turf and I enjoyed the paella Valencia. Perfect in every way. We finished with cappuccino and pistachio tartufo not knowing there would be complimentary churros and chocolate sauce! I can’t say enough about the service at Fornos. Heated towels to wash hands between servings, they poured our sangria for us at the table, Cleared plated continuously, Just so attentive. Another amazing Fornos experience!
