J. Gilbert’s only opens for lunch a few weeks in December and it was totally enjoyable. We ate at a booth in the bar and it was very comfortable and not noisy at all. The food was delicious as always, we had the pastrami wings as an appetizer and they were cooked well and the rub on them is so good. I had a steak wedge salad and the steak was cooked perfectly, the salad was cold and crisp. Never have had a bad experience at this restaurant.
