I took my mother to Secrets on the Lake for an Early mother's day Petite Plate as a special treat. As we are both coeliac, we preordered our petite plate as gluten free. We were absolutely delighted with our coffee and treats along with the ambiance and service! Such a beautiful oasis and a easily doable as a day trip from North Brisbane. Food was good. Service was good. Busy due to public holiday but not too crowded.

We got a great table, our coffees came out quickly followed very closely by our food. The croquette meal was beautiful, the herb Aioli was beautiful. The avocado on toast had a great combination of flavours. We both got a hash brown, both having g the perfect amount of crunch. Will 100% be back.

We celebrated our 6th anniversary there last night, the service was amazing & possibly the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Fabulous restaurant, can’t wait to go back 😊
