In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert. With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes.     What a beautiful restaurant! Loved all the photo op places. The twinkling lights were magical! Now on to the food! Yum! I got the ribeye and my hubby got the 1/2 order of salmon. So very delicious! We will be back! Service was also excellent!

    From start to finish it was an exceptional evening. We split a sirloin steak and they even let us have two different temps! Our server Brittany was excellent. Amd the atmosphere outside is so lovely. There was a wedding next to us and it only made it more fun. Not too loud.

    We were with a large group of old friends who had not seen each other for decades. The staff were very polite even though we were pretty noisy. Apologies to the other guests who just wanted a quiet dinner. Food and drink were excellent.

    I believe Palmer’s restaurant presents the number one restaurant experience in the Coachella Valley. Mark, the guitarist is fantastic and the food is always delicious and the wait staff is excellent. a great experience and a strong reason to revisit the restaurant.
