Restaurants near Travelodge Inn and Suites Jacksonville Airport

Atmosphere was great, got seated in a side booth where there was less noise. Tried the house amber which was good, wife liked her cocktail. Pizza was a bit disappointing, advertised as Chicago style but not really, was only about halfway up the pan and the toppings were REALLY scattered. Our waiter was personable; had a lot of rain while we were there and had a drip by our seat, but we deployed an empty glass to reduce the splatter.

Everything about the evening was wonderful. Our sever knew the menu & food well. She was great. Our cocktails, smoked manhattan and sazrac, were really good. We had the pulled pork egg rolls & fried green tomatoes appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were incredible - not something I would have ever expected to like. My husband had the trout and I had the burrata, heirloom tomato, pesto bruschetta. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go there again…and bring company. Thank you.

The food was extremely good. Steak was done perfectly as usual. I'm not a huge fan of the smokey wood flavor but the steak was still amazing. Vegetable medley was superb. Onion soup was amazing. Service was perfect. Server James from somewhere in the UK was totally fantastic.

Nice place. Older, but established in a nice location right on the water. Great views of the city across the river. Been here one other time and will come back again. Slightly pricey but probably in line with other establishment on its par.

We had a great experience. Our waiter, John, was most excellent. He was on top of it and we didn’t want for a thing. He was so so nice, friendly and funny. Very engaging with the guests. As usual, the food was outstanding.
