    My husband & I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary last night at The View. Breathtaking views of mirror lake and mountains. Food was delicious and the presentation outstanding! Staff were all very friendly and professional. They took a Polaroid and gave it to us in a sturdy frame and brought out macaroons on a plate they wrote Happy Anniverscary in chocolate! Nice touch! A very memorable & pleasant evening.

    Highly recommend this restaurant. We stay in Lake Placid frequently but usually make the short trip to Saranac to go to The Campfire Adirondack Grill Restaurant. As usual we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and ambience at our most recent visit.

    Last minute Valentines dinner while traveling- we were glad to get a reservation. The good was very good quality it was just a lot over the top with sauces. The shrimp and burrata appetizers were great, the soup and Caesar salad were great, both the filet and steak frites had way too much sauce but both pieces of meat were good and had a good flavor. The only thing that was bad was Valentines dessert which had a very strange flavor and we didn't eat. We had great service.
