Situated in the lovely village of Landscove, between Ashburton and Totnes.We believe passionately in provenance, sustainability and seasonality, with an emphasis on what is good and local, in both our kitchen and bar. Food mileage really is of paramount importance to us, that's why we partner with local suppliers.Our partners, Anran less than a mile away supply us with lots of our seasonal veg and produce, with all of their proceeds from the food going to cancer research.We also supply local and delicious ales and cider. Some of these include New Lion brewery in Dartington, Barnabys in Holne and Bulkamore Orchards in Rattery.

Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. We have known The Malsters for many years, and having heard very glowing reports about its new ownership, we just had to return to try it out. Those reports were definitely right. We had lunch during the week, so it was fairly quiet. The place itself is in the most beautiful setting by the water. The food was utterly delicious and the service excellent. Great experience, and will definitely return. Thank you.

Amazing food, incredible atmosphere and great service, this really is hidden gem, love the place and love coming back, you really must try it if your in the area, so highly recommended, one of my favourite places on the South Coast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
