We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 100 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths. During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. When valet is not available, spaces are metered and paid for via the ParkMobile app. 100% of all parking proceeds directly benefits the betterment of the Bucks County Playhouse.

    Hostess was extremely accommodating. They had a large very noisy group in the main dining room and she graciously moved us to a smaller dining room that we had to ourselves throughout the main course before other diners joined us. The lamb and pheasant were both delicious and the service was excllant

    Lovely surroundings…but all hard surfaces and very hard to hear our dining partners. Food was fine-not great. Limited menu. Avocado BLT was tasty but messy to eat and grilled chicken was thick and tough. Wait staff was great. They need to increase menu selections and install some noise absorbing features.

    First time having lunch here and really enjoyed it. My spouse and I each had an entree salad. Both were fresh and well prepared. Our server was attentive and friendly, ambiance was inviting. Overall, we were very happy and will return.
