Excellent all around. Setting is beautiful, service and food was excellent. Very fun night.

Bison stroganoff did not have much meat in it at all. Chicken Boursin was decent but not as good as expected. Draft cider and white Buffalo (White Russian) were very good! Waitress was top notch!!

Beautiful piano music played while we dined overlooking Lake Huron. Katherine was amazing and treated us like friends making sure our dinner experience was 5 star. Her attentiveness to every detail including calling us by our first names made the evening perfect. The food was beyond delicious. We all had the planked whitefish which melted in your mouth. Exactly what we were looking for to end our visit. Best of luck in your Florida/Michigan adventures Kathleen.

My first time dining experience at The Straits Restaurant was wonderful! The food, décor & ambiance is elegant, yet fun & unique. As I mentioned to our waiter, concierge & manager, “The Straits is showy, but fun & different. Never a dull time.”
