Restaurants near The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center

Our reservation was for 630 and we weren’t seated until 715 pm. The food was very good but not plentiful like other hibachi restaurants we’ve been to, so the value wasn’t as high as we would have liked. The waiter and the man who cooked at the table were very nice and entertaining. Overall, not sure we would return soon.

The Calabrian shrimp appetizer was great. The whitefish oraganata, sea bass, and the HC pork chop were delicious. Roger is a terrific server. It was a very good evening.

As usual, everything was perfect. The food, the service, the sensitivity to the customer is impeccable. We always choose Capital Grille for our special celebration because of this. My young granddaughters, ages 4 and 9 love the place and are always made to feel special. David Jaye, our server was professional, knowledgeable, and acutely aware of anything we could have needed.

Starting with the bread service the food lived up to the hype. The only thing we thought was not good was the lobster bisque. The wedge was excellent (could’ve used a tiny bit more dressing), great fresh oysters. We did the filet and strip, both were great, well seasoned. The filet was oddly slightly more flavorful but the strip was excellent. One snafu, they over cooked my first strip. They were very apologetic and got me another one right away (took about 7mins). They compared a round of drinks for the inconvenience. Lastly server was really nice and attentive. Good spacing and flow to the meal. Would definitely go again.

We do a girls dinner once a month at the DG Cooper’s Hawk in DG. Food is always great, service is usually good. We had Mary again last night, she is top notch!! She is the BEST server there! Thank you Mary for always providing superior service!
