I had a work colleague visiting from Hong Kong and Ashford Castle was the perfect location. The weather was magnificent which added enormously to the garden walks in advance of eating. The food was delicious as always and all staff we met were truly so customer centric. What a special team, from the moment we arrived at the entrance gates to our departure. Our guest from Hong Kong was in awe. The beauty of Ashford Castle sells itself but the full team add the warmth to the exceptional hospitality. Thank you, for yet another beautiful visit.

Book ahead for this very popular restaurant. A very versatile menu with good cooking and presentation. A friendly, young and energetic and well managed team ensures that meals are delivered in a timely way.

We arrived late but the host was fine about it. Lovely man had a laugh with us. He (John) took our order let us try the 2 sauces as we were not sure which one to order. He was a very polite and pleasant man. The place was lovely except it was cold we didn’t take out jackets off. And the radiators were off. They bring out a deserts as it was one of my friends Brady and they all sang it was a very lovely evening. It was steak night and the value for money was amazing. The food was delicious. We had ordered 3 fillet steaks but they ran out so my other friend had the sirloin. All steaks were cooked to perfection Will definitely recommend and we be going back again
