Restaurants near The Distillery District

Was a very good meal except the water (we weren’t offered regular table water and had to pay for ‘flat’ water in a bottle-we would have just preferred regular tap water&ice!!!)

The food at Pure Spirits is well presented and flavourful. The crab cakes were terrific. But the clam chowder, I'm sorry, is a complete ripoff. The small bowl was half full, the chowder was thin, and there was ONE CLAM. No other clam bits, just the one single solitary clam. And this little serving cost $16! Unbelievable. Our terrific waitress, Michelle, was apologetic and she's the only reason we walked out of there feeling okay. To eat at Pure Spirits again I would have to be convinced that something had changed, because trying to rip customers off for soup is low.

Beautiful interior that transports you. The french onion soup is fantastic and the off-menu Negroni is the best that I've ever had!

Amazing as always … the best calamari in the city and Jessica our server was amazing as always. The focaccia is definitely a must try :)

Thank you for the unforgettable experience at Madrina. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all exceptional. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Looking forward to coming back soon!
