My family dined at The Reluctant Panther the friday evening of July 4th weekend, 2024 and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Inn itself is beautiful as is the restaurant dining room itself. Our server was very attentive and helpful (as one family member has a peanut allergy). Our meal was wonderful. Two of us had the Burrata appetizer which was fresh and delicious. Our daughter had the Lobster and Brie fondue appetizer which she loved. My husband had the Pork Chop entree which he said was wonderful. My daughter and I had the Short Ribs entree which was scrumptious! We were too full for dessert but I’m sure anything you get here would be fabulous!

This is actually our 2nd time eating here. We had breakfast about 6 months ago that did not disappoint either. We arrived for 5pm dinner and was quickly seated. The app's and salad did not disappoint. My wife was very happy with here chicken breast cooked to perfection with a mix of available summer vegetables. I had the steak which was beautifully done medium. Spot on for the chef. The deserts were made in house and were very delicious. Did not feel rushed thru dinner for 2. Would defiantly be back. Restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor seating is covered which allowed us to withstand the outdoor rain shower without getting wet. Very well done.

We had a lovely dinner at The Chophouse. The service was wonderful despite the fact that they had a full house due to the early spring winter storm. Everything in town was shut down and we were expecting things to be challenging for a restaurant in a hotel where people were pretty much stranded for the evening - but it was a lovely evening and the restaurant handled everything so well. Eating there is an experience, so I would not go if you don’t have at least an hour to an hour and a half for a fine dining experience. I hope I am able to visit again someday. The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend the chicken roulade and the sea bass!

Hostess was inattentive to everyone waiting, despite reservations. Waitress was much better but disappointed to not feel more “welcomed” from the start.
