Bistrot La Minette is the realization of Chef Peter Woolsey's dream that began over a decade ago during his earliest days studying in France: to create a restaurant that would share his love of the authentic bistro experience with his fellow Philadelphians. Great respect is paid to the traditional dishes that are created; and the classical French methods required to achieve unparalleled bistro cuisine. Both savory and pastry menus are ever evolving to reflect the seasons, the availability of the best ingredients and the inspirations of Chef Peter Woosley, who returned to Bistrot La Minette as Chef de Cuisine in 2023. The service, led by GM Maureen Marchiafava, is both efficient and warm, rooted in a foundation of hospitality and caring for our guests. Our goal is for Bistrot La Minette to be accessible to all guests that enjoy superb food and wine, and the company of their companions: hoping to evoke their best memories-or dreams-of traditional French bistro dining.

Ramiz Turkish Grill has 140 locations globally and this is the first location in the United States. Our story began with two orphan brothers born in Prilep, Macedonia at the beginning of the 20th Century. They immigrated to Turkey with their grandmother, who raised them and worked in various restaurants perfecting a recipe of grilled meatballs made by street vendors in Macedonia and opened a shop that was made famous by their speciality dish. Later in life, they expanded within Turkey and in the year 2000, opened a location which became frequently visited by politicians, artist and athletes. The principles and recipes remain the same as it's origin in 1928 as Ramiz Turkish Grill continues to expand - now in its first US location in Philadelphia's South Street.

Great meal, great service and great drinks. Chef Peter Woolsey and his staff have done it once again. My wife and I love this place. It’s our favorite French bistro and that includes those in Paris, Honfleur and Mont-Saint-Michel. Bistrot la Minette is a gem. So sorry that it is closing. Please publish a cook book with the recipes of all the dishes you’ve served over the years. Best wishes to Chef Peter, all of the staff and all of your families. As for my wife and I and our family, we’ll forever cherish the memories we’ve made at Bistrot la Minette. THANK YOU!!! Simply the best.

Have been meaning to get here first a minute. Went for brunch on Saturday. Got a great table by a window. The ambiance is great, well thought out but not overdone. Our server Chloe was attentive and very knowledgeable, she made our experience even better. Also the manager stopped by and was very friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional, they have a great selection of cheeses. My cheddar omelette was perfect. Will be back.
