Restaurantes cerca de Tankerton Slopes

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant this is. We were encouraged to go by friends who have been a few times and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were looked after fabulously and the food was exquisite. The local Kent wines were amazing and we left feeling that we must go back soon. We cannot recommend Land and Sea highly enough.

This restaurant has benefitted from a good internal refresh, with attractive decor and new management. The Italian menu is fairly standard, with pizzas, pasta, salads, neat, fish etc, no surprises but perfectly acceptable. The dishes were very good, well seasoned, and with a decent portion size. Service was a little odd, in that there are plenty of staff, but the manager (?) seemed determined to do as many jobs as possible, leaving the team watching on. Dirty dished were cleared quickly but no-one checked if we wanted to order more drinks. Overall, the staff were friendly but a little disorganised, perhaps this is due to their lack of experience, and an over keen manager. The restaurant is very noisy - not just ' Italian restaurant' noisy, which can be fun, but really quite difficult to conduct a conversation. Maybe some sof furnishings would help to dampen this down a little. So, overall, really nice food, a good visual (but not audible) ambiance, staff that are trying but need a little guidance. To be fair, the place was packed on a Weds evening so they're getting a log right. Could be fantastic, I hope that they can smooth out the wrinkles. And will revisit soon.
