Restaurants near Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area

This is a hidden gem in a beautiful mountain town. The food was incredible! Get the Brussels sprouts…don’t like them, get them anyway. So good. Steaks were quality selection of meat and sides may have been the star of the show. This is not your run of the mill steakhouse. Service was great! We had reservations and were seated within a few minutes upon arriving. We sat inside but would’ve preferred on the patio due to the noise level. It was quite loud inside with chatter but the live music was nice. The cost was reflective of the quality food and exceptional service. Broad selection of wines with both cheaper and more expensive pairings depending on your range. I went with a cheaper oyster bay that was very good. Husband went with the house red which was a nice selection as well. We didn’t go for dessert as we were both full from appetizer and meal. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just an adventurous date night in the mountains!

The food at Courses is outstanding. Everything we ordered was exceptional with the exception of one steak which was replaced without charge. I highly recommend Courses for date night or any other time.

I loved every minute of dining in this great restaurant. The food - trout appetizer and the Mediterranean salmon were to die for. I cannot say enough about our server. He made the evening. No rush only I want you to be happy 🤩we will be back!! Often!!
