The duck was average, and the pancake wasn’t good. The duck soup was decent — the tofu in it was delicious, and the broth wasn’t greasy or overwhelming. The other two dishes I ordered were much more impressive: •The sweet and sour pork was served on a bed of ice to keep it crispy — I thought it was just for show, but it actually worked! The sauce stayed intact and coated each piece perfectly. So good! •The corn with salted egg yolk was tasty too, though I think it would’ve been even better with a sprinkle of Chinese chili powder 🤭 haha.

Such a fun place! The vibes were everything and the food is great, the cheese ball things were amazing!

Mesa Verde was excellent in every way. The food was inventive and delicious and delivered to our table by courteous, professional waiters. The drinks menu is extensive and well thought out. Highly recommend.

Lovely hidden spot, located on the 2nd floor on Lonsdale. Staff service was friendly Food was nice, although my partner and I were still hungry after selecting a set combo each. Extra meat was a bit on the pricey side. Otherwise, a nice ambience, with all customers forward facing the grill with accessible condiments to pair with the food stored a top the seating. Authentic cuisine, for an average dinner for 2, with 2 beverages and a few +extras, expect to spend under $120.
