We have eaten at Port Na Craig for pre theatre dining. on this occassion we had booked for 2 and 3 of us turned up and were accommodated with no issues. I had tried to phone about 45 minutes earlier but the phone was rinhging out, I guess I should have tried on the app! Anyway we were accommodated well and got a table near the entrance. We still tried to enter through the conservatory we just don't remember to use the entrance by the river. The waiters were attentive and we had drinks promptly, from a varied list and the starters and mains came in good time for us to be away easily within 90 minutes, the cutlery came to the table just after the mains and the water for the table was never offered but these things happen. The Food was well presented in good portion sizes - the pate starter was almost too much, the food was tasty and well cooked. All in all a very pleasant and good quality and value two course pre theatre meal for three of us with drinks, we will be back.

Nice relaxing place to eat with good service Just to say they accept dogs in the restaurant, I have been there twice since it has changed hands and in my opinion it has improved overall. The menu was traditional with Skullen skink and haggis tempting me. The only issue with the food is that the pie (with very tasty meat) was not encapsulated in pastry but a dish of meat with a piece of puff pastry sat on top. It is one of my pet annoyances and I should of asked before I ordered it, There is good veggie and vegan options I will return and enjoy more good hospitality

From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome. The service was exceptionally friendly. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant but then moved outside for drinks because the weather was so good and the views from the beer garden are spectacular! We’ll be back soon!
