Such a beautiful enviroment, with class and refinement. Food is exceptional as is the level of service.

We enjoyed our meal but were disappointed that we had to pay £10 to moor our narrowboat as we had never been charged previously. Whilst the food was very good we were given a bill which included three desserts which we had not ordered or eaten. When we brought this to the attention of the helpful waitress she made sure it was corrected and apologised however it was disappointing and we were lucky that we noticed as otherwise we would have been over charged. Generally drinks were expensive.

The pub was very noisy as there was. Stag party in the bar but the restaurant was a quiet haven. There is a new summer menu and we chose chicken with Rosti potato mushroom sauce and vegetables and a bacon chop with triple cooked chips eggs pineapple and peas . Both were delicious and portions were generous. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. As it was a Saturday there was a singer in the bar but it was in the background and did not spoil our meal at all.

Lovely Sunday lunch with great service, food delicious and reasonable priced

Pleasant staff very friendly and attentive Lovely food had a beef curry and my wife had a chicken tikka both very tasty rice was perfect nann breads were nice The only downside was they were out of a couple of things we asked for but put that down to it being a Monday evening Will definitely be returning
