Of the three North Italia's in Charlotte, this is the best one for food. The other kitchens just have a lot to learn to catch up to South End. We had meatball ragu, prosciutto pizza, seasonal vegetables and squid ink tonnarelli. We also started with the calamari which was hot and salty, maybe a tad too salty. However, it was meaty, tender and crunchy. The pizza is always great. My squid ink was spicy and had plenty of fish which were cooked well. And the meatball ragu was plentiful and fresh tasting. We had draft beers and Sicilian margaritas which were cold and delicious. We have frequented this store often and it has always been good. The service is getting better. Drinks were historically the slowest part of the dinner but this time they came quickly. Much appreciated change. One other thing to note: we got a text that our table was ready but we wanted to sit outside. The hostess apologized that she didn't have a table ready for us but would shortly which was true. Good place

Our waiter was pleasant and very attentive. Food was tasty, but a bit overpriced for the overall experience.

It was great. My daughter and I were celebrating our birthdays.

Like many previous times there, I ordered filet Mignon. It was very tasteful and tender--perfectly well cooked as ordered. I also had a delicious bruschetta appetizer and a small house salad. Both were also excellent, Service was great and our server was very attentive.
