The chicken and pork tenderloin were delicious. We had a side of Brussels. The ricotta cake was a sweet way to end our dinner. Regan our server was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend the Ridge Room.

Chop House is an amazing experience and truly worth the visit if you enjoy fine dining. It's a cozy, intimate place to enjoy a meal with loved ones. The food is sourced locally and cooked to perfection every time. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable too. The cocktails and pairings are also delicious. Overall, I Chop House is worth it's price and easily the best restaurant in Harrisonburg

We had a fantastic time celebrating our parents anniversary at The Oxley House. A lovely and lively new restaurant in Elkins in the new Tygart Hotel. Welcoming! Yes! Cocktails before dinner? Well crafted by the amazing Mercedes. Service, well done! Filet… medium rare and cooked perfectly. Everyone had a great meal… brined pork chop, my filet, our mother’s trout and Dad’s burger. We saw groups of friends, families and couples on dates… a great restaurant for all of this. Very high quality food… and a good wine list too. Check out this great restaurant and let’s support them!

Guest House is an oasis for those LGBTQ+ community who wish to be transported to a world in which saying hello to a fellow diner or bar fly does not engender fear or death glares. It is a very small world in which you can share your experiences without a quizzical cock to the head or silent judgement. It’s where good, simple food is elevated with freshness and the care put into each plate is evident in terms of beauty and taste. It’s an escape for any queer person who wished to go to a hotel like those in White Christmas without the fear of sticking out, and allows guests to indulge in the nostalgia of stepping back in time without any of the social trauma. Guesthouse is a very special place, and I can’t wait to find my way back to Lost River soon.
