On 5th June we chose this venue to celebrate the completion of our granddaughter's university degree course. for a celebration lunch. The meal was very good and the Gold prosecco of high quality. The waitress was cheerful and extended her congratulations and took a photo of us all. We shall return sometime as we were delghted with this restaurant.

We had a great meal, tasty, fresh food, calm yet fun atmosphere and great service, would highly recommend.

Venue is great, super location and views. Beer options are good quality, the staff are courteous but incredibly slow, it looked a quiet day but there was always a queue at the bar, no urgency to serve customers. Food was available from 18:00 but the table booking app let us book at 17:30, we were told we could order before 18:00 but they wouldn’t start cooking until 18:00. We ordered schnitzel with garlic butter and asked to swap gem lettuce for slaw (mentioned in a starter description), server said she would put the req through and gammon egg and chips with side of seasonal veg. Schnitzel came with hot red cabbage and was topped with capers and fried eggs which wasn’t what was ordered, gammon was as described and then the saddest portion of “seasonal” veg which was red cabbage (winner veg) and peas from what we could tell, which we sent back and refused to pay for. We explained the issues to the server, the chef sent a message to us that the foh did not order correctly. We were told they did not “do” a slaw, it literally says there is slaw with one of the starters, I “think” chicken skewers! We were then asked if we wanted garlic butter (to correct the schnitzel order) and were then brought garlic mayo, then eventually garlic butter but had nearly finished by then. I asked the first server for mustard, she disappeared and I asked another one who was much better, very polite. Everything was hot, schnitzel wasn’t seasoned, a shame as an appetising menu but were disappointed with an overall lack of attention to detail and urgency.
