Restaurants near Southside Estates Park

Came here for our anniversary and had a great time. Our server was attentive and awesome. We had our 11 month old baby and everybody was so sweet and good to him. The server assistants/bussers were also super kind to us. My only complaint would have been the hostess. When we booked the reservation I booked it for two people, as only two people would sit in a chair and only two people would be having a meal that cost money. I did however include in the notes that it would be two adults in a high chair, so the host could plan accordingly. As somebody who worked for years as a hostess and server, counting an 11 month baby as a "person" throws off rotation and ends up making an issue for covers and seating arrangements. When we arrived and checked in, the hostess asked if the reservation would be for two, and I said "yes, well two and a highchair" which again were in the notes on open table. The hostess looked at me and said, very rudely, "so you mean three then" with a dirty look. Not a great customer service moment, especially when I went to great lengths to make having a baby at the restaurant as convenient as possible for the staff. All of the rude behavior service staff has to deal with and somehow at the beginning of the holiday season she's snapping at the most non-issue you could possibly deal with on a busy night? Doesn't seem like she'll be able to deal with actual problems that arise during the worst restaurant time of the year if she's already cracking.

Wonderful! I’ve been back to this location several times now, and the food has always been consistently fantastic! Filet perfect medium rare, crisp tender broccolini…  Very friendly staff… Great atmosphere… I’m impressed with the consistency of this restaurant, everything I’ve gotten has been done perfectly…  Food comes fast and warm

We went on Thanksgiving, our first time not being hosts and cooks to a crowd. I was a little afraid with just the two of us it might be a downer. The place was buzzing, staff were beyond friendly, smiling and sharing Thanksgiving wishes. Even customers at other tables were friendly. We started with the butter nut squash soup and the warm flavors were like Thanksgiving Day reminders all at once. The turkey dinner and desert did not disappoint either. Portion sizes were really generous. We will definitely return!

Enjoyed the fillet and added shrimp. It was wonderful. I wish they had a full bar.

We always enjoy our dinners at The Capital Grille. My husband had the Citrus Salmon which was delicious. He ordered the scalloped potatoes which were not very good….very dry, not enough cheese. I ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly and excellent. However, my baked potato was not hit and not cooked long enough. The service was good and the ambience lovely but very cold in there. We were happy we brought a coat with us.
