Restaurants near South Side Municipal Beach

Everything was fantastic. We had a table by the window over looking the lake. (Beautiful views) We had two people waiting on our table. We started with the oysters and a few other appetizers which were delicious. For dinner we had halibut, scallops, steak/shrimp - everyone loved their dish. This is a phenomenal restaurant with incredible food and a beautiful atmosphere.

The sautéed calamari was cooked perfectly as were the scallops. The sauce in the calamari dish is so delicious I was tempted luck the plate. My partner’s bolognese was meaty and not overly rich like the dish can sometimes be. Though the restaurant was almost full the noise level was manageable but we were there early in the evening so it might be louder later. I understand why they’re so popular.

Crowded, yet very enjoyable dinner with good friends. Waistaff was accommodating and knowledgeable. We'll return!

Probably the best filet mignon I’ve ever had. Everything was outstanding - the salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and drinks. We both had brandy old fashions and White Russians for dessert. Well worth the price. Service and atmosphere were spot on also.

Excellent service and a wonderful meal. We really enjoyed everything.
