Heather and her husband are consummate hosts and everything they do is done with class, and the utmost taste. I have brought chefs from out of town to done there and every one is impressed. - MMikeVIPSt. Louis •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhen I come across a local eatery such as Moonshine 152, I hesitate to leave a review for fear that it will be so much more difficult for me to get a reservation the next time I am in Boston. Chef Asia Mei has hit it out of the park with this local eatery! I’m not even sure where to begin. We tried a variety of items (way more than we could eat) because everything sounded so good. We were not disappointed. We had the biscuit with pepper jelly, biscuits with pork gravy, chicken nuggets, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffle and a side of the elote street corn (very creative take on that). Everything was exceptional. The staff were very attentive. We sat outside since it was such a beautiful day so I can really speak to the inside noise level, but as we left brunch it was packed and didn’t seem overly loud. Chef Asia thoughtfully approached each table to check on patrons and ensure their satisfaction. My only disappointment was we didn’t get a phot with her. This place is a must!More infoMoonshine 152Price: Moderate• American• South Boston•4.9
- SSuziGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food was really good and the view on the rooftop was spectacular. While the waitstaff was always friendly and professional, the first night I ate there the waiter was attentive. The second night I was there, the waiter was attentive but I had to wait for my check and then wait for them to run my card. Overall, it was a great experience.More infoThe EssexPrice: Expensive• American• South Boston•4.3
- AAlisonGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 27, 2025Great food, everything we ate was delicious! I'm vegetarian and there were several vegetarian starters/salads, plus one vegetarian taco. Would have been great to have a second vegetarian taco option given how many meaty tacos flavors there were. The guacamole was excellent, as was the spicy watermelon and strawberry salad. The drinks we got were just fine in comparison to the food which stood out. Sat outside, lots of outside tables that had a good ambiance, not too close to the street traffic and plenty of trees and flowers. Friendly and prompt service. Would go again if in the area.More infoYellow Door Taqueria - South EndPrice: Moderate• Mexican• South End•4.6
