Exceptional experience in all ways, the renovated Flat Inn building with the murals depicting Asheville scenes, the roof top bar with beautiful mountain and downtown views, the most friendly and welcoming staff ever and innovative and delicious dinner choices. It is a true Asheville experience complete with portraits scattered around the walls of prominent figures that contributed to the development of our wonderful town. Our waiter, Jamie really made our visit 5 star. He proudly and in great detail highlighted some of the choices on the menu. He was so professional, friendly, attentive and answered our questions about the portraits. The staff worked together as a great team and we will be back very soon. A true downtown gem!

The Bistro is not a cheap date. But the food and service were exemplary! We shared Estate Raised Pork Pate, Freshly baked breads, and Estate Raised Lamb Chop. Simply fabulous food. And we had enough left over for breakfast the next day. Bistro acknowledged my birthday with two complimentary truffles after dinner, which were simply marvelous. Wines were also fabulous, and the server provided a taste of the Pinot Noir which I thought I'd enjoy with the lamb chop, but was too full for another glass. The bubbly complimented the pate and bread - and the lamb as it turned out - perfectly.
