    We enjoyed the food and wine and service was all that we could hope for Only niggle was that the website makes it clear there is a dress code but there were several examples of it not being enforced- either have it and use it or don’t bother

    As usual The Star Inn the City didn’t disappoint for my birthday celebration, we had a fabulous time with wonderful food and the best service yet 🥂❤️ I have no doubt we will be back and highly recommend The Star to all. Thank you for making my 70th birthday so special, absolutely loved the mini birthday cake which tasted delicious. I don’t usually have any dessert but this was perfect treat for me 🎂

    What an amazing place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary!A lovely complimentry glass of prosecco on arrival The staff were so attentive , atmosphere chilled and all the food was absolutely gorgeous,from the massive buffet to the table service with all the gorgeous carved meats,it was outstanding.My hubby said it's the best place we've ever eaten,he especially loved the lamb rump and loved the baked pineapple 🍍, absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again ,highly recommend it .
