Had a great time. Went to happy hour, our server Nate was very attentive, the food was delicious. We needed the night in the tasting room and our other server Q was very energetic and made our night! Love this location!

Had wife's bday dinner with 10 total guests. The service was decent but not exceptional, especially considering it was a Monday night. Whereas the food was outstanding. The food prices have really escalated in the year since we were there. It is a trade off between outstanding food verses high prices. It appears that the same meal a year ago was about $49 vs $66 for the combo of soup or salad, filet with 3 shrimp, 1 side and cheesecake and fruit desert. Warm bread was served. Only 3 1/2 glasses out of the small bottle of Prum Reisling was now about $54 vs 44 previously. Suggested tip is after taxes, so be aware. I think for larger parties we will go elsewhere and just come here for just 2 people as $770 for 7 adults and 3 children with tax and tip is pushing it.

Always wonderful enjoying a meal at South Barrington Hampton Social. Everyone makes you feel at home. Excellent food! Great wine choices! Wait staff always enhances our experience! Hailey helped us this time. Made sure we enjoyed the wonderful food ambiance. She recommended the banana cream dessert. She was so right. Christian recognized us as a regular and came over to see how we were! Shrimp Tacos and Fish and chips-excellent! Wonderful afternoon!🍷❤️👍

We love the monks: great food, great service, great atmosphere. Set outdoor by the lake and took in the lovely evening with good food and good company.

Food, drinks and service was great. Didn’t tell the server it was one ours birthdays he just overheard us talking about it, at the end of the meal he came out with a dessert, sparkler and sang happy birthday. Fun surprise. Always a favorite restaurant for us.
