Restaurants near Sheraton on the Falls

Our server, Mary, was fantastic. View of the falls is amazing. Food spread is good but can be better including cleanliness.

We recently visited Prime Steakhouse in Niagara Falls and overall had a lovely dining experience. The view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful—definitely one of the highlights. We started with a bottle of Shiraz and the scallops, which were on special as an appetizer. They were perfectly prepared and absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, my husband did end up with a fly in his wine—not the restaurant’s fault, but still a bit off-putting. The staff handled it well and were very accommodating. For our mains, we both had steaks. While the flavour was excellent, they were slightly overcooked—we had asked for medium rare but received medium well. That said, they were still tasty. We shared mashed potatoes and carrots on the side, both of which were delicious. We brought our six-year-old along and were happy to see a kids’ menu available. The atmosphere was smart casual, with a mix of dress styles—from people in shorts and t-shirts (understandable given it was over 40°C the day we visited) to those more dressed up. The restaurant kindly discounted our bill, which was appreciated. All in all, a good experience with great food, attentive service, and a stunning view. We’d come back!
