We came here for my husband's birthday and had an amazing time! The service (especially from Mufti & Phillipe) was incredible! We were treated so well - they gave us birthday dessert and several tokens from the restaurant, it was such a nice gesture. The food and drink were amazing, and the decoration of the building itself is gorgeous. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

We ate here twice in our brief DC visit - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was terrific. Complex compositions, tasty and well presented. I eat Caesar salads quite often and theirs was one of the best I’ve had. Both times we commented that the background music was enjoyable and not too loud for the room. Our waiter was familiar with the wine we wanted to try and it was delightful.

Words can't describe the experience. I would actually book an airplane ticket back just to dine here again; I am not joking. This was simply amazing. The food was creative and delicious; you remember every bite days later. The staff worked great as a team and were quite attentive. My only critique is that Somolier was a little off, and spilled a little wine, maybe too many taste tests. Not a big deal for us though. We will come back every time we return to DC and can get a table. Thank you for an amazing meal in a gorgeous setting.

Entertaining relatives from out of town, I knew Old Ebbitt Grill would not disappoint. Ambiance was great and impressive, and food was delicious, and wonderful. Although server was very friendly and pleasant, she did not refresh our drinks. That was the only downside of service. Otherwise, everything was great!

Outstanding service: they serve the different kinds of premium cuts of meat the way you like it. Just ask! The lamb, the pork loin with cheese and the beef ribs were to die for. A secret treat: try the sweet corn cake slices from the buffet with coffee as a dessert.
